ABOUT ME

Rozlyn is a full-time professional glass artist who has been working in glass for over 25 years.   Her early involvement was in the area of stained and painted glass where she apprenticed in Sydney under Cherry Phillips and Sydney Stained Glass.   She has since studied professionally and developed skills in other technical aspects of glass-forming processes that include casting, engraving, and encased and surface painted works.

Her qualifications include an Associate Diploma of Visual Arts from Nepean College of Advanced Education {now part of the University of Western Sydney}; a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Canberra Institute of Arts; a Miscellaneous placing at Sydney College of The Arts; and private tuition under Master Glass Engraver Anne Dybka.

She has also given lectures on various aspects of glass of glass-making processes, including new aspects of glass engraving, both nationally and internationally.   She now teaches glass at her studio in Canberra in various techniques for beginners through to experienced artists.
